Stall force beats speed count every time

Marketing leads with speeds and heads. What decides whether a gun works on a big muscle is stall force and amplitude — so those are what we list, alongside the noise level you will actually live with.

Straight answers

Which massage gun should I start with?

A mini gun covers arms, calves and shoulders and travels well. Step up to a full-size unit with higher stall force if you need to work quads, glutes or a broad back without the head stalling out.

Heat and cold — gimmick or useful?

Useful, in different places. Heat before a session helps tissue move; cold after helps with acute soreness. Units that do both are listed as such rather than described vaguely.

Are these FSA or HSA eligible?

Some manufacturers list their products as eligible and we repeat that claim only where the manufacturer states it. Eligibility is decided by your plan administrator, not by us.

Can I use one on my neck?

Use the softest head, the lowest speed, and stay off the front and sides of the neck entirely. If you have an injury or a circulatory condition, speak to a clinician first.
